When a 28-year-old nurse was accused of drug use, she found herself in the middle of a very stressful Child in Need of Services (CHINS) investigation. The Department of Child Services was not very sympathetic, despite our client previously entering into an Informal Adjustment (IA). DCS kept changing the requirements and threatening to withdraw the agreement. She knew she needed the help of an experienced Indianapolis criminal defense attorney.

With her license and family at stake, Sean Hessler negotiated to keep the IA open and finally got clarity on what was expected of his client. By cutting through the confusion and fighting for straight answers, the client successfully finished the Informal Adjustment and the case was subsequently dismissed.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
