Time Served for Multiple Felonies

A 44-year-old construction worker was charged with Level 5 felony confinement with a habitual offender enhancement, Level 6 strangulation, Level 6 domestic violence with a serious injury, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor OVI. He faced 33 years in jail.

Indianapolis assault and battery lawyer Sean Hessler investigated the case, which revealed that the alleged victim was unsure about the facts surrounding the event, and the witnesses gave inconsistent statements. Ultimately, all of the battery and intimidation charges were dismissed, and the client agreed to a plea agreement for operating while under the influence for time served.
