Being convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) will change your life forever. Being charged for this offense for a second time will complicate your life even further. Recently, a 20 year old campus fulfillment center employee found himself in this situation. After getting into an accident and being arrested for a second-offense OVWI, he knew he needed the help of an aggressive Indiana DUI attorney. This is what brought him to the criminal defense team at Hessler Law, PC.

After the young man blood sample was taken and he was arrested, attorney Sean Hessler negotiated a plea that enabled his client to serve minimal jail time. While five days in jail is required by law for second offense OVWIs, attorney Hessler’s client only had to serve 300 days of probation after that. Additionally, due to Indiana’s Specialized Driving Privileges, the client was able to retain his driver’s license immediately after the plea deal was accepted, which was six weeks after charges were initially filed. This enabled him to keep his job and move forward with his life.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
